NY must close the school meals gap for students and families in the Hudson Valley

As the map makes clear, there is more work to be done to ensure kids in the Hudson Valley — and across the state — have access to the school meals they need. Statewide, nearly 660 schools and over 320,000 students still do not have access to universal free breakfast and lunch while at school. In the mid-Hudson region, more than 80,000 students in over 160 schools were left behind.
